The first cake made by Anastasia in her home kitchen for friends and family, our Pandan Chiffon is one of the original cakes sold in the very first Bengawan Solo Cake Shop.
This is a light fluffy cake made with fresh aromatic pandan (screwpine) juice from whole pandan leaves and the freshest cold pressed coconut milk.
In a blind taste test conducted by The Sunday Times, ("A Cake for Everyone" Published 30 April 2017): "Bengawan Solo was the clear winner…" and "The unanimous winner among the 14 cakes tasted. The judges lauded the cake for its fluffy texture and balanced flavours."
